Cached Mode

When deleting emails in cached mode they are not
recoverable, is this correct behavior?

Exchange 2003
Outlook 2003
Windows XP

etc.

If you don't Permanently Delete them then they should be sitting in the
Deleted Items folder regardless of mode.
