CAL Costs

We are looking at purchasing some additional CALs for our Project Server
implementation. We have to go through a rather ridiculous purchasing
process. Can anyone direct me to the location on the Microsoft site that
states what the Retail CAL Cost is for Project Server 2003? I've run myself
around in circles trying to find it. Maybe it isn't on the site. If not,
where is the best place to find it? Thanks.

As you've figured out, there is not one single "Retail price" for a CAL. It
depends on what type of licensing arrangement you want, and how many you are
buying. If you're just tryiing to get a ROM estimate, a basic answer is $179
per CAL.

Thanks for that link but as the saying goes, "Been there, done that". It
also has no prices on it and takes you in circles. I recall reading on a
message in this forum a while back someone mentioning that the CAL's were
$30.00 each. My management needs to see something on a Microsoft screen
somewhere telling us what the retail cost is. They won't accept an answer
that essentially equates to 'whatever the Microsoft rep feels like'. Heck,
PCMall has (what I think are the CAL's) at $12.99.

These are the PWA Only CAL's I'm talking about. Does that help pin this
down? Thanks again for the help.

confirm this against Microsoft first. (We have to be VERY formal.)
