Hi All,
Would like your help to provide me the instructions or steps on how to
calculate the TAT(Turn around Time) for my requests excluding weekend and
public holidays

For Example 1,
I received a request on 1st Sept'05 and I completed the request on 6th Sept'05
During this period, the actual TAT is only 4 working days, exclude 3rd Sept
and 4th Sept'05 which were weekend in this week.

Kindly let me know how to solve the calculation as well as excluding the
public holiday if during this period.

Hi,

Use Networkdays formula. Syntax is =Networkdays(start day, end day,
holidays).

You need to enable the Analysis ToolPak Add-in first to use the formula.
To enable it go to Tools->Add-ins and check the 'Analysis Toolpak' add-in.

Thanks for the swift reply.

I have a question sometimes the holidays will take place in differeent month
and date during one year time.

How can i go about it to setup this kind of formula, do i need to insert a
new spreadsheet to setup the holidays date

Pls advise.

Hi,

You can have the holidays customised for each formula. YOu might have to
enter the holidays for a year in a range and should refer to that range.
