How to calaulate the dates? ie. we have a 2005 dodge truck since 05/01/2006,
today's date 10/13/2006, like to know many days old?

I'm assuming you're doing this in a query grid?
Try: HowOldAmI: Date()-[PurchaseDateField]

On a form or in a report:
=DateDiff("d",[PurchaseDate],Date())
