Calculate EV against pre-exisiting baseline

We are new to using earned value in Project and have numerous projects with
pre-exisitng baselines. After setting up the std and ovr rates for all
resources I find I must establish a "new" baeline to get the BCWS & BCWP to
calculate. Is there a way to force the calculation against the exisitng
baseline?

Since you failed to supply the resource rates before saving the original
baseline I think you're out of luck. Since there were no costs recorded in
that baseline, the necessary information for calculating EV simply doesn't
exist.
