EV not calculating correctly with master plan

I use MSP 2003 standalone. I have created a master plan with 4 inserted
plans, each having been baselined before I inserted. After inserting the
baselined plans, I then baselined the master plan. The BCWS, BCWP, and ACWP
all display $0.00 at the program (master) level, yet the inserted plans all
display values in those fields.

1. Why is this happening and will I have to re-baseline the master everytime
there is a change in one or more of the inserted plans?

2. What is the sequence in which I must insert and baseline plans to have
the master plan calculate EV correctly?

This is exactly the same question I have. Could anyone please help us
understand the process to track the master plan?

Unfortunately there is a long standing bug in Project: When inserting one
project into another (linked or unlinked) the baseline values (Baseline0-10)
do not roll up to the master project summary task. In more complex
consolidations I have seen the baseline data changed in the master showing
different weekly values from the sub-project. There is no solution here but
to write VBA code to directly read Baseline data from Sub-projects to master
projects.

I have had some success doing baseline rollups in the master manually but
it's a pain!
