calculate perimeter and area of drawn, irregular shapes

I need to calculate perimeters and areas of irregular drawn shapes. I was
able to conduct these functions with Visio 5 technical previously in the
Macros_Visio extras selection. I can't seem to find and help discusses using
space shapes, not drawn shapes? Noe I have MS Visio standard 2003, wassup?

I believe the feature you want is under Tools > Add-ons > Visio Extras >
Shape Area & Perimeter.

Thank you so much for answering the request. You are correct, the add-ons
has the Visio extras selection, however, there is no Shape Area & Perimeter.
The selections include color scheme and number shapes, convert CAD, and a
bunch of database references. ... Do I need another installation or update?
