Calculated Quantity Missing Sometimes

I have built a report, then copied and modified it to make a slightly
different version. I added a summing feild (=sum({QUANTITY]) in a
header but it does not display all the time? Why does it miss a line, I
looked at the data for some of the missing lines examples and they all
contain values???
