Calculating… What does it mean?

Hello

When I open a form the word “Calculating…†is shown on a bar on the lower
left corner of the screen.
This word, when most of the forms open, after a couple of second turns into
“Form view†but for few forms it stays as “Calculating…†as soon as the form
stays open.
This is strange to me because there is no any obvious calculation at that
time after I do not ask form to perform anything.
Do you know what does it mean?

Does this form have any controls that use conditional formatting?

This seems especially to be an issue with calculated fields, and especially
in Access 2000. More info:

You are right, there are texboxes that use conditional formatting but I use
Access 2003.

Have you applied Service Pack 2 for Office 2003?

Other than that, it might be a matter of seeing if there are any obvious
dependencies, particularly for calculated controls.
