Calculating a date for query

I'm trying to query a table beginning Jan 1 of two years ago. Can someone
help me figure out what is wrong with this expression?

#1/1/ &(Year(Date()-730))&#

Try
DateSerial(Year(Date())-2,1,1)

DateSerial(Year(Date()) - 2, 1, 1)
