Calculating a Form Field..Can it do it automatically?

Hello,

I am using office pro 2003. I have a word doc that I have many form fields
in. I have to fields one called pcs and called cost. I want to make a form
field or even just a formula field that will auto calc.

I have the formula in the form field now, but I can't get it to update and
choosing update on exit, if that's supposed ot update when you tab out, it
didn't do anything either.

Please help someone.

OK, you have the pcs and the cost fields, plus a calculation field? And you
activated "calculate on exit" for both the pc and the cost fields? (Doing it
for the actual calculation doesn't do any good, because you never actually
enter a calculation-field so you never exit it.)
