Calculating order of magnitude

How do you calculate the order of magnitude between two numbers?

For example 17 and .017 are three orders of magnitude apart, so how do I get the computer to calculate that for me?

How do you calculate the order of magnitude between 17 and .011?

Either as =INT(LOG(a/b,10)) or =ROUND(LOG(a/b,10),0).
