Hello,
I am attempting to use Project Pro 2002 with Server 2000
to calculate our team's goals for the upcoming quarter.
I have about six projects inserted correctly into a
consolidated file, each with different tasks and
timelines. The boss has a list of tasks he has in mind
to complete in the coming quarter, and these tasks span
across most of the published projects. However, they are
consecutive tasks. He wants to know if it's realistic to
expect the team to complete all of these tasks by year's
end.
How can I get Project to spit out what can be done by a
given date, across all projects? Also, how can I find
out who is underallocated and when, so I can take the
load off those who are overallocated? Would levelling
resources do this automatically (if the box is checked to
allow re-assignment of tasks) and how accurate is the
levelling?
thanks
