I have a table with several years of info for inventory.
I am trying to create a report that shows a year-to-year
purchase comparison. Couldn't find a way to do this in
reports so I resorted to a pivot table form. I can
display the data side by side comparing one year to
another. But how do I add a variance total and variance
percent columns along with Year-to-date columns. The
variance and year-to-date columns need to be calculated
for each quarter. I hope I am explaining my issue well.
If there is another way besides pivot tables that can
help me achieve this I'll be more than glad to implement
it.
