calculating week # and day #

I wonder if any of you could advice me on which function(s )to use to get
the week number,
& day number of a given date.


eg)
if the date is, say 11-Jan-2007.
then the
day # is 4 ( Thursday)
week # is 2 ( 2nd week in the year).

Please help

="week # is "&WEEKNUM(A1,2)&" and day # is "&WEEKDAY(A1,2)

You must have the Analysis Toolpack Add-in installed for the WEEKNUM
function.
