CALCULATION INQUERIES: How to fill GrossPay with a(:)?Plea

Please help:I stuck at the CALCULATION IN QURIES of Access lescon, page 418
Made Easy booK.
After fill[Payrate]*[HoursWorked], STEP 12 IS USING THE MOUSE, SELECT THE
CALCULATED FEILD NAME eXPR1 AND DELETEIT.
STEP 13 IS TYPE NEW FEILD NAME GrossPay, but i do not know how to fill a
colon ), so the query does not work.

Hi,


I don't know the book you mentioned, but it is unlikely you use a colon
in a field name. Boldly try without typing any colon. You are in the query
designer, aren't you?
