Calculation On/Off for Master projects

I know it sounds a daft question but - If I switch off calculation in a
Master Project, but the sub-project plans were last saved using calculation
on - will the master plan show the sub-project plan data calculated?

thanks in advance.

Steve,
Yes, why wouldn't it? Remember, subprojects are NOT actually part of the
master. The master only contains a pointer to the subprojects. What
calculation does at the master level is update any changes made there.
If those impact something in the subprojects, then those updates will be
processed. Changes won't be permanent of course until all files are
saved.

A master plan is a plan in and of itself. So, your subprojects will
calculate. The no calculations option applies to the individual tasks of the
master project. For example, when I tried this on a master project, the
summary task will roll up the changes in value of the summary task. However,
nothing rolled up from the master project.
