Folks,
Is anyone out there adept enough to help me figure out an issue that just started happening to me since the early time change took place over last weekend? My Mac is apparently smart enough to have taken notice of the fact that the time is now an hour earlier than it was last week. However, my version of Entourage (which admittedly is from 2003) has not. This mismatch is picked up by Entourage, which issues an error warning for every new appointment I try to make, but the program assumes that the Entourage time is correct, and not the computer. Any ideas on how to fix? I've tried checking in the Entourage preferences for some sort of daylight savings time switch to enable or unenable, but there doesn't seem to be one. Thanks.

Entourage X was created BEFORE the change in DST. It was 'end of life' when
this time change occurred so there was no official fix. There is an
unofficial fix you can try.

If you don't need Exchange you can get Office 2008 very reasonably. $117.99

I have the same problem. Power PC. Mac OS 10.4.11; MS Office 2004.
Daylight savings time changed in 2007 to the second Sunday in March, and the program was written before this. Does this have anything to do with the problem? If so, is there a patch for 2004 Entourage to fix it?

No. Did you restart Entourage? If you use Entourage 2004 or 2008 and it's
been running through the weekend, you'll need to quit it and relaunch before
it recognizes the time change.

I have 2008, and various meetings are showing as incorrect times
there. they're correct on the exchange server and my blackberry.
I've restarted Entourage and the MAC as well. I cleared the local
calendar cache too. Still have meetings at the incorrect time. Any
thougths?

Are all of these a result of the time change and just need to be reset?

Here are two scripts for messages so not sure that will help your calendar
event problem.

Correct the Date 1.0

Author: Barry Wainwright

This script is useful for correcting those messages you receive where the
senders system clock is badly adjusted, and the message displays a date that
is different to the real date the message was sent. The script will reset
the displayed date to the date in the first 'received' header of the message
- about as close as you can reasonably get to the date the message was sent.

Modify Date Received 1.0

Change the Date Received of an incoming message.
