I was trying to look back on my Outlook Calendar for something from last
year. However, it only goes back to June 2008, which figures since I needed
May of 2008. How can I see my older items in my calendar?

Outlook will keep past items indefinitely. What might affect this is 1) you
sync with a hand-held and that device removed the older events or 2) you have
autoarchive enabled and archiving has moved the events to your archive
calendar.
