user I'm using visio 2003. In a userform I have added a calendar control.
However when I email the vsd file to a colleague in the US the calendar
control disappears. We are both using XP and the file is zipped when in
transit.

Any ideas?

Many thanks

James

Are you implying that the user has to load the calendar control into their
VBA toolbox to run this? and what happens if they are not programmers?

Thanks

No, I'm just curious whether the control is on the system you're having
problems with (goes to references, paths, etc.)? VBA <> .Net and
transferring required components.

Unsure. As it is the Calendar control taken from the VBA form toolbox I
would have thought this to be standard on all PCs with Visio (as they all
have access to this control).

I think you must have added a reference/component as that doesn't
normally appear in the toolbox by default. Some of the controls
available depend on what else has been installed on the PCs, e.g.
office etc. You need to find the OCX/dll that the calendar control is
using and find out if this is installed on the other machine.

For anyone who is interested. It turns out that OCX is installed if the user
has Access included in their MS Office install and not if they don't.
Arghhhhhh.....
