Calendar control not behaving in a Windows Vista machine

I have a calendar control in a form designed in Access 2000. When it is
opened on a vista machine you need to point the mouse at the date above the
one you want to select also when you want to click X to exit the control you
need to click above the X so it appears you are clicking the form behind it.

Has anyone else noticed this yet and if so have they found a fix, i have
been searching the microsoft site but cant see anything.
