Have you checked your computer date in the lower left corner of your
screen to make sure you are in the correct year? It sounds as if you
are still in 2007.

Date and time appear to be correct (2008) My mail also is stating items sent
"yesterday" because my calendar says today is the 8th, and I know it's the
7th! Not sure what to do.

Its actually really odd. I just saw this myself, on my own computer. I
normally just take a look at the time time on the task bar, however, I wanted
to make sure what date it was today. So I checked the date and it said that
it is Monday, the 7th of January, 2008. Even though I was already pretty
certain that the 7th fell on tuesday.

January 7 was Monday.

So does this mean that I should re-install outlook? People are asking what is
going on as my emails as well, as they are all (1) day ahead. Don't want to
do this if it won't make a difference. Thanks

No, you should make sure your Windows time zone and DST settings are correct
and exactly match the corresponding settings in Outlook's calendar.
