Calendar display problems

Dave

My Outlook calendar displays everything from 5am to midnight (1 Day view)
with the possibility of scrolling to see items before 5 am. This means that
the appointments, that are typically between 9am and 5pm, are squashed up and
harder to read. Is it possible to choose the section that is displayed e.g.
8am-6pm, and then reply upon the scrolling to see anything outside of these
times?
I am using Outlook 2003. Any help is much appreciated.

The Day view should start at the time you set for the start of your working
day on Tools>Options>Calendar Options. Is that not what's happening?

No, this is not happening. I have set the working day to 9am start and 5pm
finish.
and yet the display shows 5am-midnight!

Any further suggestions to remedy this would be much appreciated.

Does the backgound color of the day view change at 9:00 AM from a darker
color to a lighter color and back again at 5:00 PM?

Outlook doesn't have a setting for ' biz hours only' it goes by how much
room there is in the Outlook window. What time scale do you use? Try setting
it to a higher one - like instead of 1 hrs scale, use 30 min. If the window
is small or scale large, it displays the start of the biz day but if there
is enough room, it starts earlier.
