calendar download caused all new Word docs to have blue backgrou.

I downloaded a 2004 calendar with notes template and chose a blue background
which I subsequently didn't like. I couldn't remove the blue background and
now all my new documents open with a blue background. Please help

Or possibly Tools | Options | General: Blue background, white text?
