Calendar events - appointments times

[Why Can't I Figure This Out? (!!)]

Can you "lock-in" calendar events, so that they are not accidently moved to
another time slot ...?

On your own calendar or are you sending the appointments to other people?
There's nothing to stop you from moving things around on your own calendar
for items you've created.
