Calendar events in Entourage

help!
after january 1st, new calendar events appear in the wrong date! if i add a new calendar event today (9th jan. 2009) it appears on 9th december 2009!!

what can i do?

See if this works:

1. Quit Entourage.

2. Select Apple menu --> System Preferences... --> International -->
Formats.

3. If the Region drop down menu says "Custom" then try setting that to
your current region.

4. Launch Entourage and see if the problem persists.

but, i've already look at it and the settings on my current region are correct! is everything all right!

really don't know what the problem is and what's causing it :-( can add new events on the calendar of 2008, but i can not on the calendar of 2009!

any suggestions? pleaseeeeee...

Try creating a new user in the Mac OS, then set up Entourage in that
user. If it works OK there it at least indicates that the problem is
something in your user files, rather than in inherent problem in the set up.

What region do you have selected in your International System
Preferences pane? I use "United States" but if you're using something
different then I can try to reproduce your problem.

Also, are you fully updated? The latest version of Entourage 2004 is
11.4.0. You'll find that information under the Entourage menu --> About.

I've created a new account on the Mac OS, and everything else that you suggested, but the problem persists in that same new user! The problem is not from my user files...

There have been issues with time zone updates for international regions.
This could be one of those issues.

Diane, I don't have Entourage 2004 installed on my laptop at home. Can
you test changing your International settings to Portual and try to
reproduce the problem?

Be sure Entourage is quit before changing settings.

Otherwise, I'll test at work where I have Entourage 2004 installed on
some machines.

I didn't see the problem. Tested in Entourage X and 2004.

thank's for the tip! i change the international zone - Portugal to United States - and that simple gesture resolved my big problem! is everything all right now! i cant create new events on the right date!

would like to thank to bill too, for the big attempt and effort! thank's Mactopia people!
