Calendar events not opening

Entourage calendar events do not open in any view (month, week, day) when double-clicked, nor can they be moved by click/drag to a new date. Double clicking only allows editing of the title within the calendar window,it does not open the event window.

This is a feature but can be annoying. Double-click to the far left of
the event before the text begins or simply click the event and select
File --> Open. It should open for you then.

You can also click in that far left area to drag.

Thank you, William. Both of those actions do as you describe and open the event. I would like to think that Microsoft will fix this in the next set of updates, because it is not ordinary Mac behaviour, and does mean that a simple action such as clicking once on an event and dragging it to another date cannot be accomplished, which is not the behaviour of the previous iteration of Entourage.
