Calendar folder within a Calendar folder

Using Outlook 2002 on a windows 2000 machine. The end user somehow created a
calendar (I'll call Calendar1) with the original calendar folder. She has
also entered meetings into calendar1. I have tried to export the meetings in
calendar1 and import them into the original calendar. When the export is
complete, the meetings from calendar1 are not in the original calendar. My
question is how can I get the meetings from calendar1 into the original
calendar?
