Calendar in Project Workspace vs. Outlook Calendar or Team Calendarin another SharePoint site

Any compelling reason to use the Calendar built into the Project
Workspace? All I can think of is that if people use their Outlook
calendar exclusively, when they go away their calendar goes away.
You would still have some sort of audit trail for project meetings if
you used the Calendar in the Project Workspace.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

Hi Andy,

Standard calendar in outlook displays events from your organization's
Microsoft Exchange Server. If you connect the workspace calendar with
outlook, you can also view the events from Workspace site on outlook.
Workspace calendards will be available under Other Calendars in
Outlook.You have to sync the Workspace calendar with Outlook to view
the events on outlook. Having this, project team can view the project
related events on thier outlook calendar.

I usually see people keep the project calendar updated with project meetings,
but then gradually let it fall by the wayside.

I have seen it used consistently for scheduling training around tool deployment
though - and communicating that schedule to the user population.
