Calendar items in Archive folder

I have a user who has rules set up to forward certain
emails to the archive folders she created. When one of
the users, for whom this rule applies, sends a meeting
request the meeting goes into a calender under her archive
folders. I've tried to remove the archive folder calendar
and cannot. When we uncheck the rule for the affected
user the meeting request goes into her regular calendar in
the Inbox. I've unchecked the archive option for the
calendar in the Inbox with the same results.
