Calendar Outlook 2007

Hello,

Does anybody know how to change the settings on the to-do-task pane in the
calendar view in Outlook 2007? I do see three meetings between the calendar
navigation bar and the to-do-list. However, these three meetings are only due
in three days. I would like to see first my meetings for tomorrow, the day
after etc. Why does it only display my meetings due later on in the week? Can
I change the settings anywhere? I tried to change the number of meetings
shown under options. But all it does it shows me more meetings again later
the week but still misses the meetings for the next two days.

Any ideas?

Are they all-day events?

No, they are not all-day events? At least I have not ticked the box "All day
event". However, the entry is for a training which goes from Tuesday till
Wednesday. And indeed Outlook only shows me meetings in this pane that go on
only for couple of hours. Surely, Oulook can´t ignore entries like that? What
point is there not showing me that I am due for a training the next two days?

That has the same effect - multi-day events don't display in the To Do
bar...

I still don´t understand the logic of it, why I should not see these
meetings in the preview as well.

Diane Poremsky [MVP]

This version of outlook only shows timed events in the to-do bar - that is
likely to change in the next version due to customer feedback. Timed events
which exceed 24 hours are all day events - that is unlikely to change. If
you need them on the to-do bar, use recurring appointments - if the training
sessions run from 8 am - 5 pm tues and 8-5 wed, see the appointments up as
such. If they truly are running from 8 am - to well into the night and end
more than 24 hrs later, then a long all day event is suitable.
