Calendar persistently places dates in October

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange Any time I enter an appointment in my calendar, Entourage defaults (rather persistently) to October. Any ideas on how to fix this?
