Calendar reminders not showing - how can i identify error?

Outlook Office 2003. When I launch outlook I get a warning message "There was
a problem reading one or more of your reminders. Some reminders may not
appear. Cannot locate recurrence information for this appointment." I
actually receive NONE of my reminders, and I have hundreds of appointments in
my calndar, any of which are recurring. How can I find the offender to fix so
I can get reminders? Just started this week...

I have Vista with Outlook 2007 and i tried these and it didn't work.
Start->run->outlook.exe /cleanreminders
Start->run->outlook /cleanreminders
When I open my Outlook I have Always same 4 reminders that come up and say
due Now. When I try to dismiss or open it says cannot turn off reminder.
Cannot locate recurrence information for this reminder.

I fixed the problem by opening outlook calander and in the search engine in
the top right corner of the calander I put the name of the reacurring
appontment and the search found found the appointment then I deleted it and
then it disapeared. I did again for to the next three appontments and the
problem stopped.

Tried the recommended fixes and the problem remains. Still no reminders
(Outlook 2007 up-to-date w/ windows update stuff).

Are you sure the calendar you're viewing is in the delivery location data
store?

I am not sure how to check or change it if it is not where it should be.
The reminders do show up on my Win Mobile 5 pocket pc. I had recently
upgraded to Outlook 2007 from Outlook XP and brought the message base and
other stuff over by importing them using the file ->import... function. I
have run the Outlook /resetfolders and /cleanreminders command line switches.

Tools>Account Settings>Data Files tab. The data file marked as Default will
contain the calendar where reminders will fire.

Import is never the way to pull in data from a prior version of Outlook.
Importing from a PST can have unusual side-effects. If you want to pull
data in from another PST, just open that PST with File>Open>Outlook Data
File and copy the data from the added PST's folders to their corresponding
folders in the default PST.

There may also be a sync issue here.

I have Outlook 2007 with updates installed on Win 7 and at first I got
updates as usual, but after a couple weeks for no apparent reason I started
getting error messages saying some reminders could not be read. Then a week
later no more error messages. So I completely uninstalled and reinstalled,
cleaning all my PST files with scanpst.exe and using the suggested steps
above too. Nothing...

I had been struggling with this to no avail for the past month... and then it
"fixed itself". I had unloaded and reloaded Office and did all the tricks
mentioned above, and then today when I was moving folders to archive PST's
and opening and closing them and Outlook in the process, I then suddenly got
a reminder for all my back reminders it had missed... mostly from the past
month, but also ones from the past it had apparently not read too, some from
over 100 weeks ago... Beats me what that means, but I now am getting
current reminders again! Phil

I also have Vista and Office 2007, I get a reminder about a reoccuring event
that I deleted from Outlook, but the reminder constantly appears a message
indicating it cannot find the reminder and i may see it again. I use Qwest
for my service provider and suspect this calendar event it may be on the host
server. I use Outlook for all of my calendar events. I tired the suggestions
in this help file and so far, i can't remove the reminder.
