Calendaring Birthdays from Imported Contacts

I am a teacher and use Outlook to manage student information, parent contact
notes, etc. I imported the student information for over 100 students from an
Excel spreadsheet created by the schools data management system. The
birthdays did not make it to my Calendar. Instead of opening and changeing
each individual birthday and resaving the card, is there a way to calendar
them all at once?

Jaded, I am not sure of the answer, however, I have the same question! I
have 121 contacts and think it strange that I have to go in and adjust EACH
birthday date to get Outlook 2003 SP1 to recognize it.
Hopefully someone will have an answer, so far I see people saying "change
one character of the date and it will fix it". That is like recreating the
wheel. I need Outlook to make my life easier, not force me to keep track
with pencil and paper!

Hopefully we'll get a reply!

The answer has been supplied here countless times - NEVER import native
Outlook information. Instead, use File->open->outlook data file to open the
information and then COPY the information to the folder where needed.

Thank you for the reply Milly. The information I inputted into Outlook for
my contact was done manually by myself. I remember I created a new contact
for my great aunt and uncle. I put their name together. Their birthday
SURPRISINGLY is on the same day/year! Wild. So I put them in a few months
ago, and I had Office SP1 installed at that time. I remember I put the date
in as I had to input the year, it was AGES ago, not 2005. That is the
reason. I remember doing the same for other dates / contacts as well.
