Calling macro in global template

Hi,

How do I call a macro in a global template from another template ? I simply
thought that as the global template is loaded at startup, the macros were
automatically available to other macros. If the macro in the global template
is called Globalmacro, shouldn't it be possible to simply call it by the
simple statement

GlobalMacro

or should it be scoped somehow ?
