Can’t open Power Point file .pptx extension

Yesterday I’ve been working in my presentation. I’ve put into a couple images and have made four new slides. After I finished my work I close it and save all changes. Today I can’t open this file. It says that file cannot be opened. And nothing happens next. What should I do now? Have I lost all my work? Hoping for you advance. Thnx.
