Can a Custom Field be added to Project Workspace?

I have created several custom fields in the Proposal and I would like for
some of them to automatically be added to the Project Workspace when it is
created. We have the workspaces set to be created when the Proposal is
published. We have created a template that is used for creation of the
workspaces. Is there a way to add these custom fields to the workspace
template?

Linda, this is not possible out of the box. You will need to do some custom
developement in order to achieve this.

Linda:

You can include the fields in your SharePoint template design, but passing
the values definitely requires a little bit of development work.
