Can a Microsoft Office product help me?

Does anyone have suggestions on a good software which could assist marketers
in which quantitative data can be entered and then processed into diagrams
and information for comparion? We need to enter data representing the number
of telephone service subscribers in our area based on zip code areas in our
region. The data needs to be processed into comparative chart/diagrams that
deliver both a visual and numerically comparison between the amount of
subscribers in one zip code area with the subscribers in surrounding zip code
areas.

Thanks

John

Excel's probably your best bet as far as MS Office products go.

Excel's probably your best bet as far as MS Office products go.

..... but you might want to investigate Mappoint, or something similar, to
use *along with* Excel if you want to see data geographically.

Generally: Access is good for storing large amounts of data, Excel is good
at data analysis and storing smaller amounts of data. Depending on exactly
what your needs are, one product might not be enough.
