The default permissions in Project Server 2003 allow a manager to open and
edit a project in which he/she is only a team member. Is that what you mean
by "make updates to a project" in your question? If you meant something
else, explain what you mean and we will try to help.
I think so. We are working with 2002 and have instances where a Project
Manager who is a resource on another Project Manager's project can make
updates and save the project. But that same PM is on another project own by
yet a different PM and cannot make any updates...
We assumed that a PM can make updates to any project he/she is a resource on
even if they do not own it. That is what I am trying to determine. By your
answer I am concluding that our assumption was correct?
