Can Access create a customized menu/view (I do not mean toolbar)?

I'm trying to customize the look of my database. I want the opening screen
to be more user-friendly and I thought that Access maybe has a option to
customer this. I have looked around, but had not luck in finding
information. Can anyone help? I am not looking for customizing toolbars.
