Can access help my company?

I am mainly and probably only using access for my thousands of business
contacts and I wanted to know if this is the right program to use?

Yes, Access is a database where you can record all your contacts and their
contact information. Once entered you can lookup a specific contact to get
the information you have recorded about the contact. You could even email or
fax one or more contacts.

Could be. The first thing is to look for an existing program
already out there which is designed to meet your company's
needs. This is almost always cheaper. Look in trade
magazines or trade web sites.

If you can't find anything, an Access databasecan probably
be created to meet your needs. There is a Contacts template
that comes with Access.

Remember that the learning curve is pretty steep for databases.
It's not as easy as creating a Word document or even an
Excel spreadsheet.
