Hi, I run a web shop and am trying to work out which is the best way of doing
a stock control and purchase ordering database in access. My shop host tells
me that they can provide me with a file that updates every time an order is
made. This file will contain details of the current amounts of each items
ordered. I want this file to update my stock control database and then send
me warning emails when the stock level is low for a particular item, I then
want to populate an infopath purchase order form with the products that need
re-ordering automatically. Can Access do this or am i asking to much?
The webshop host can email me a text file, create an xml file or do a
constanly updated log or txt file detailing the current order levels. which
would be best to use? Cheers JD
