Is there any way to change the view in Access to where it only shows one
record with all of its fields and not all of the records?

Yes, build a form. That is what forms are for. You could also buiild a
query to pull all fields and limit the query to one record.

Hope that helps,

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Select your table in the database window. Now from the Insert menu, choose
Form, then AutoForm: Columnar.

The spammers and script-kiddies have succeeded in making it impossible for
me to use a real e-mail address in public newsgroups. E-mail replies to
this post will be deleted without being read. Any e-mail claiming to be
from brenreyn at indigo dot ie that is not digitally signed by me with a
GlobalSign digital certificate is a forgery and should be deleted without
being read. Follow-up questions should in general be posted to the
newsgroup, but if you have a good reason to send me e-mail, you'll find
a useable e-mail address at the URL above.

I am having a problem starting a new thread within this group; when I click
on the "Start a New Thread" button, nothing happens. Only when I click on
the "Reply" button, I get the "Reply Dialog Box", even though I don't really
want to reply to any of the threads listed; I want to create a new thread.
Sorry to have to put this here, but it's the only thing I could think of to
get my question posted. Hopefully I'll figure it out and get my **real**
questions posted soon!

In Peace, Max

You need to provide more information.

Without knowing what program you are using, "...click > on the "Start a New
Thread" button..." means pretty much nothing.

Are you using some kind of web interface? There should be a help button or
link on it. Use that.

Are you using Outlook Express? Ask your question in the O.E. group at
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress.

Are you using some other newsgroup reader? You need to go to where you got
the program.

Good luck.

Ah, the old "popup blocker" problem.

Glad you solved the problem.

Happy posting.
