Are you publish to a server that has the FP extensions via FP's http mode
(http://www.yourdomainname.com)?

Did you refresh your browser? You may be looking at a cached view of the
page which is prior to you making the changes.

Thanks for your reply, when should I refresh? I have my edited version in my
left hand box- I selected that page then clicked publish to Web.It told me it
was successful but when I checked the Webpage it had not transferred the
edited version. I have edited one before but not sure what I am doing wrong.

Delia,

With your local web open in FP, do File Menu | Publish Site and select Change Pages Only instead of
publishing a single page.

Just tried it but got the same results as before- I opened my web in FP and
did as you said. I cannot understand it !
Thanks anyway

Does the live/remote server have the FP extensions, if so open the live/remote site directly in FP
using File Menu | Open Web/Site and enter http://www.yourdomainname.com and your login info, click
Ok, then click Open.

Next look for more than one home page file, such as index.htm, index.html, default.htm, default.asp,
etc.

Have just looked-In the folder column in FP-I have index my domain website
copy-
then copy 2 which is my edited page. I am not well up on Webpages although I
did design my own. Someone else posted it for me.

Ok, you need to open your modified page in FP, and then do a Save As overwritten the original index
page, then delete any extra unneeded copies.
