Lets say there is a network folder named for each month, inside there i
a bundle of heavily linked reports that cannot be integrated into jus
one workbook. Each new month the folder is copied and renamed to th
current month to update the data. Links keeps pointing to previou
folder structure and changing them it's time wasting and confusin
because of the little room on the excel links dialog...
I have not yet found a way to make the process practical as it is i
webpages. Why can't links just point to the files regardless of folde
or even use ../folder_x/ to force them navigate into the folde
structure as it is in webpages relative links?
Well, obviously excel is one program and webpages are other thing, bu
perhaps someone else having the same inconvenience has found a bette
way to do it or can give some advice...
