Can Excel send emails based on a date?

I am wondering if there is a way to have Excel send an
email message when a date in a cell matches a certain
criteria, e.g. When the date in the cell is 3 days from
today's date, an email message will be sent to remind me
that a due date is approaching. Thanks in advance for the
help.

Sure. But you'll need a macro running (ouch no please not the horrible, dangerous
macros!!) that tests the condition and sends the email if the condition is met. See mr
