Can fax numbers be removed (not show) from Address book

When preparing a new email message and you click on the "To" field, can
Outlook be set up to only show email addresses and not fax numbers? Thanks.

Sure. Don't put the fax numbers in in the first place. A fax number is a
legitimate electronic address and so Outlook will show it if you define it.
In addition to not using the fax field at all, there are three things you
can do: 1) put the fax number in another non-phone-number field, 2) prefix
it with a string like "F" or "FAX" so that Outlook doesn't recognize it as a
phone number, or 3) get a third-party tool like "Hide Fax Numbers"
