Can Groove 3.1 and Office Groove Work Together?

I've got an lifetime license with Groove (pre MS purchase) and there are a
lot of us (20 users) on it who don't own Office 2007. We've got a new member
in the group who installed Office 2007 with Groove and we can share files
with them.

It would be great to get help with this. Can the solution be as asy as the
new member uninstalling Office 2007 Groove and then installing Groove 3.1?

My apologies on the error in my first message. We "can not" share files with
the new member who runs Groove from Office 2007. Sorry about that.

There is a setting in Groove 2007 (for managed users, this can be controlled
by the administrator) under options, preferences in the security tab that
says users can restore or join only workspaces created in Groove 2007. If
selected, the user would not be able to accept invitations from 3.1 users.

It appears that 3.1 to Office Groove 2007 is a one way street. Groove 2007
is able to download files sent from/created by Groove 3.1 users but when
Groove 2007 user creates a new file that's added to the filing sharing
designated folder, it does not upload to the 3.1 user.

If anyone has a lot of experience between these versions of Groove it would
be helpful to hear back on this. Many thanks.
