Can I animate one word in a paragraph?

[animating tables]

I am trying to emphasis one word in a paragraph, but PowerPoint emphasises
the entire paragraph. Is there any way around this?

You could try this. Place a yellow (or whatever) rectangle over the text to
highlight / emphasis. Send backwards till it's behing the text and give it an
on click entrance animation
