can i automatically delete relationships between tables in access

when i import a database, i rename the old tables and then delete them, and
rename the imported tables.
when i import again the tables relationships have been recreated and cause
an error.
is it possible to automatically delete relationships or prevent them being
created.

When importing, in the Import Objects dialog box, click the 'Options'
button. This will expand the dialog box to show some additional options, and
one of those options is whether or not to import relationships. The option
is selected by default. Unselect it (uncheck the box labelled
'Relationships') and relationships will not be imported.
